Security and trust
What Crossfold can and cannot do with your funds, and what to check before you confirm anything.
on this page
Non-custodial by construction
Crossfold has no accounts, no balances and no keys. Every route is a transaction you sign in your own wallet, from your own address, to a route contract on the origin network. Funds arrive at your own address on the destination.
The only approval a route ever asks for is for the exact token and amount you typed, on the origin network. There are no unlimited approvals.
Before you confirm
- The address bar reads crossfold.my. Nothing else is Crossfold.
- The confirm dialog and your wallet agree on the amount and the network.
- The quote shows the live badge, not mock.
- The minimum received is a number you can live with.
What Crossfold never asks for
- Your seed phrase or private key. No page on this site has a field for them, and nobody claiming to be Crossfold will ask.
- A sign-in, an email or a password. There is nothing to log in to.
- An approval for more than the amount you typed, or for a token you are not routing.
Reporting a problem
Send a message to @Crossfoldmy on X. Include the origin transaction hash if a route is involved. Do not include private keys or seed phrases in any message, to anyone, ever.
