What Crossfold is
One route to every chain. Crossfold moves assets into Robinhood Chain, or out of it, from any major network in a single confirmation.
In one line
Crossfold is a routing front end for Robinhood Chain. You pick where funds are and where they should end up, read a live estimate, and confirm once in your wallet. The route does the bridging and the swapping for you.
Nothing is custodial. Your funds go from your wallet on the origin network to your wallet on the destination network. Crossfold never holds them, never asks for approvals beyond the one route you confirm, and never needs a login.
How a route works
- You choose an origin network and token, a destination network and token, and an amount.
- Crossfold asks a routing engine for a quote: how much arrives, what it costs, how long it takes.
- You confirm one transaction on the origin network. For ERC-20 tokens there is one approval first.
- A solver delivers the destination asset to your address, usually within seconds.
The routes page explains what happens under each of those steps, and the quotes page breaks down every number you see.
What it is not
- Not a wrapped-token bridge. You receive the real asset on the destination, not an IOU.
- Not an exchange account. There is no balance to deposit into and nothing to withdraw later.
- Not a multi-step guide. If a route needs a bridge and then a swap, that is still one route and one confirmation.
Beta status
Crossfold is in beta. Here is what that means today, so nothing surprises you.
- Works: live quotes on every listed pair, routes between EVM networks and Robinhood Chain, routes between EVM networks, and routes to and from Solana and Bitcoin by deposit address.
- Coming soon: Solana and Bitcoin to or from Robinhood Chain. The app says so on the button when you pick that pair.
- Start small: the first time you use a pair, route a small amount and watch it land before sending more.
- Deposit routes need the tab open: on Solana and Bitcoin routes, keep the page open until the status turns green. If you must close it, copy the deposit address first; the route itself continues either way.
- Mock estimates are never executable: if a quote is marked mock, wait for the live badge.
Where to next
- Your first route: five minutes, start to finish.
- Networks and tokens: what is routed today and what is on the roadmap.
- Quotes, fees and timing: every number in the estimate, explained.
